19 Mar Arrowhead Lakes Resort Construction Update – March, 2025
We’re thrilled to share the latest progress on the rebuilding of the pool and pool house at Arrowhead Lakes Resort! It’s been a busy few months, and you can check out the transformation through a timelapse of the project thus far below!
This rebuild is all about “building back better.” Our goal is to enhance accessibility and create a space that truly meets the needs of all our guests. The process of constructing the pool house from the ground up has provided us with the opportunity to customize the design to our exact specifications.
What We’ve Done So Far:
November 1, 2024: The construction trailer was set up, and concrete work started on Monday, 11/4 to kick off foundation repairs and begin building.
December 4, 2024: The building materials arrived! Construction of the building shell began the following week.

First wall up on December 13th, 2024.

Framing progress on December 19th, 2024.
January 3, 2025: Big strides were made with the rebuild: soil samples were collected to prepare for pool construction, and the building reframing was completed the next week.

Siding being added on January 3rd, 2025.
Today: The shell is nearly complete. Next steps: pool construction!

March 2025
What you can expect:
Accessibility
By lowering the pool house by over two feet, we were able to eliminate the need for elevated entrances and decks. This change resolves accessibility and safety concerns, including issues related to guard rails and ramps.
Bathrooms
The bathrooms are now located on the far west side, allowing for a large, open central area perfect for activities and games.
Store Relocation
The store has moved to the far east side of the pool house, providing expanded space for a wider variety of merchandise. And yes, we’ll be offering hand-dipped ice cream!
ADA-Compliant Facilities
To further enhance accessibility, we’re adding a 24/7 ADA-compliant bathroom and shower on the east side, so guests can enjoy full access even when the pool and clubhouse are closed.
Pool Space
A dry sauna and hot tub, a kiddie pool with a gradual slope, with a depth of just 1’6″ – perfect for young children, and a main pool measuring 39’ x 50’ with a maximum depth of 5’.
With the building’s shell nearly complete, the next step is securing final permits for the pool installation. We’re thrilled about all the upgrades and can’t wait to share more exciting updates with you. Stay tuned!
