Festivals – Celebrate All Your Favorites!

Local festivals and events offer a wide variety of entertainment, specialty foods, shopping, and children’s activities for you and your family to enjoy, both at our resorts and nearby. While vacationing at Venture Out Resorts you can enjoy all our themed events as well as the community events throughout the summer.

SUMMER MOON FESTIVAL

During the summer Arrowhead Lakes Resort celebrates with the community of Wapakoneta the Summer Moon Festival. The festival is held every year to commemorate Neil Armstrong’s moon walk.

Activities are held downtown and at the Armstrong Museum. There is free entertainment, rides, food and fun for all ages and a special appearance is made by a NASA Astronaut during the 5K – 10K Run to the Moon.

CELEBRATING EVERYTHING AROUND US

Area festivals celebrate everything from a Duck Tape Parade to the world’s largest gathering of twins, and of course all the holidays. There are festivals that honors maple syrup, books, Dogwood trees and celebrates Arbor Day.

Gather up your family and join in the fun. There are antique festivals and art shows, and concerts. You can find a wide variety of entertainment, specialty foods, and shopping.

THEMED WEEKS

During the summer we have themed weeks, where we celebrate 4th of July, other holidays and always have activities planned around the theme. We hold fishing contests, special entertainment, and much more.
